This past June, we recognized Robert Cashman, one of our ReProgram graduates, for his success! Robert participated in our first ReProgram class and graduated in the fall of 2015. Upon his graduation, Robert secured a job at Cart Dr. here in Mobile, Alabama.
Robert has been a Cart Dr. employee for almost 3 years. There, he has worked in a customer service role and has had various other responsibilities, according to owner, Stephen Coleman. Robert describes Cart Dr. as a “family atmosphere,” and Tricia Slack, owner, describes Robert as one of Cart Dr.’s “best employees.”
In this video clip, Robert mentions some of the hurdles he has had to overcome to get to where he is today. He believes that without ReProgram, he would more than likely still be jobless and homeless at this time. However, because of his hard work and dedication, along with all of your prayers and support of this ministry, he was able to overcome those difficulties.
As Tricia mentioned, “It is important to remember that we all make mistakes.” No one is perfect, and we are so thankful for Cart Dr. providing Robert a second chance. We are so proud of Robert, and we pray the Lord continues to bless his life!
